Directions for use

PREPARATION: Carefully read all cautions and directions before use. Test product on an inconspicuous area of the finish before using on a visible area of the finish. Mask surrounding surfaces with plastic. Protect hands with solvent-resistant gloves, and eyes with safety glasses. We recommend Klean-Strip Extra Protection Gloves.

APPLICATION: Use at temperatures between 60° and 90°F. Shake can well and hold in an upright position approximately 6-10 inches from surface, pointing arrow on top of button away from you. Check decal and adhesive remover during the process to ensure that it is not causing damage to the automotive finish. To remove a decal, apply remover slowly to decal using back and forth motion, to obtain a thick even coat. Do not allow it to run into crevices or under trim. Allow remover to remain on decal for 10-15 minutes. Test a small area to see if decal is ready for removal. Use a plastic scraper, such as a Klean-Strip Stripping Tool, to remove decal. Some decals may require two applications. To remove adhesive residue, spray remover on the adhesive and allow to remain for 1-5 minutes. Wipe the surface to remove adhesive.

NOTES: Do not use on plastic trim or rubber parts, freshly painted surfaces or lacquer painted surfaces. To remove decals from a lacquer surface use a heat gun. Do not apply in direct sunlight or strong breezes. It may not be possible to remove all types of decals without damage to the paint due to the variety of automotive finishes. If damage to the automotive finish occurs, it is not a defect of this product, and Klean-Strip’s liability is limited to refund of the purchase price of Decal & Adhesive Remover.
