Directions for use
PREPARATION: Protect hands with solvent-resistant gloves and eyes with safety glasses. Shake well, open can slowly to relieve pressure. Remove all parts not to be stripped such as wipers, mirrors, chrome grills, plastic components, etc. Clean surface of heavy dirt by washing and drying thoroughly. Apply only to areas you intend to strip.
IMPORTANT: Test a small inconspicuous area before proceeding with the entire job. Fiberglass patches and fiberglass surfaces that are not original factory applied may be softened or damaged by this stripper.
APPLICATION: If applying to a vertical surface, begin application at the bottom, because vapors are heavier than air and accumulate near the floor. Flow on a thick liberal coat to one small area at a time, up to 2' x 2' because health safety risk will increase dramatically when used over large areas. Brush in one direction only. Do not brush back and forth, as this will destroy the built-in evaporation retardant.
REMOVAL: Allow time for stripper to work, 5 minutes. Test to see if paint is softened by scraping with a nonmetallic scraper. If the stripper starts to dry before paint is softened or loosened, apply a second coat of stripper over the first coat. Continue to check at intervals of no more than five minutes. Stripper left on a fiberglass surface for an extended period of time can cause damage to the fiberglass or gel coat. Remove softened or loosened finish immediately with a non-metallic scraper. Immediately after removing paint, wipe area with a sponge and water. Dry surface with a clean, oil free cloth and wait a minimum of 48 hours before painting.
