Liquid Sander

Liquid Sander is a ready-to-use liquid deglosser that saves time and labor. This product is formulated for use by the professional and homeowner who desires to save time and effort while achieving a high quality paint application on previously painted and glossy surfaces. Liquid Sander works in one easy application WITHOUT MIXING, WASHING OR SANDING to degloss old coated surfaces. This allows NEW paint, enamel, varnish, urethane, lacquer, shellac, stain or wallpaper to bond. Its etching and deglossing action forms a perfect base for new paint or coating. Low odor and non-flammability make it ideal for use in kitchens or bathrooms as well as other interior/exterior applications.

Directions for use

Wear chemical-resistant gloves and chemical splash goggles.

APPLY: This product is premixed. Shake well before use. Apply Liquid Sander to a coarse cloth or brush (or on an abrasive pad or steel wool on heavily soiled, waxed or rough surfaces). Rub the surface until clean and deglossed.

REMOVE: Let stand for a few minutes, then wipe off dust, dirt, or wax with a clean cloth. Heavily soiled or waxed surfaces may need additional applications to remove all residue.

WAIT: Let all surfaces completely dry. Typically, they will be dry to the touch in 2 hours.

FINISH: Refinish when dry or before surface becomes dusty or dirty again. If it does, rewipe with Liquid Sander and refinish.

CLEANUP: Clean up tools and any spills with water.

 

Unfinished Wood: Removes dirt, pencil, crayon, ink, dust, scuffs and finger and heel marks without raising grain of wood.

Panels & Floors: Removes wax, tar, dirt, dust, shoe and furniture marks. Always wipe in direction of grain.

HELPFUL TIPS:  Always test first on an inconspicuous surface for compatibility and on nearby surfaces that are not to be refinished, as it will degloss most surfaces.
