Bulldog® Adhesion Promoter - Aerosol
Bulldog® Adhesion Promoter is designed to promote paint adhesion to all automotive surfaces, even problem plastics. It works equally well on all flexible or rigid plastics, fiberglass, aluminum, glass, chrome, vinyl, galvanized metal, and painted surfaces. Bulldog acts as a tie coat by allowing several different surfaces to be painted at the same time to assure a smooth, flawless, durable finish every time.

Directions for use 
For best results apply at temperature above 60°F and away from direct sunlight and strong breezes.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
For best results, first clean all areas to be painted with Klean-Strip PrepAll Wax & Grease Remover. Then, thoroughly clean with Bulldog Abrasive Cleaner. Rinse completely with water and let the part dry. When repairing peeling painted surfaces, all loose and peeling paint must be removed. To blend repaired areas with the original paint, sand the surface and the surrounding paint with 400 or finer grit sand paper until a smooth junction is attained. If the paint chips while sanding, it may be necessary to strip and repaint the entire part.
APPLICATION:
Shake gently for at least one minute to secure a uniform mixture. Looks hazy, dries clear. Hold can in upright position approximately 12 inches from surface. Point arrow on button away from you and spray the surface to be painted with an even, light mist coat. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and apply a second light coat. Use steady,even strokes while spraying. Do not apply a single heavy coat of Bulldog for it may run. If Bulldog runs, remove immediately with lacquer thinner and reapply as directed above. When doing spot repairs, be sure to apply Bulldog to the surrounding blend-out areas. Bulldog can be painted with any solvent based spray paints within 5 to 10 minutes. Solvent based paints can be applied by a brush over Bulldog when Bulldog is tack free (in about 15 to 20 minutes).
CLEANUP:
After each use of Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, clean spray valve by turning can upside down and spraying until only gas comes out. Discard empty can in trash pick-up. Do not burn, incinerate or place in home garbage compactor. All tools should be cleaned immediately with lacquer thinner. Care should be taken to keep from exposing freshly painted surfaces to solvents.
